The Royal Albert Hall in London, England is arguably one of the most iconic and famous music venues in the world.Since the Hall's opening by Queen Victoria in 1871, the world's leading artists from many performance genres have appeared on its stage. It is the venue for some of the most notable events in British culture, in particular the Proms concerts, which have been held there every summer since 1941. It is host to more than 390 shows in the main auditorium annually, including classical, rock and pop concerts, ballet, opera, film screenings with live orchestral accompaniment, sports, awards ceremonies, school and community events, and charity performances and banquets. A further 400 events are held each year in the non-auditorium spaces. In 2018, this venue became a focal point for Tony's songwriting skills.

As an experienced songwriter over the last thirty years, Tony Carling has had his music played on the radio and on the internet in many countries across the world. In 2018, a song written by Tony was chosen to be part of a special commemorative show performed at the world famous Royal Albert Hall in London, England to raise money for the Chelsea Pensioners Scarlet Appeal. A whole host of international performers combined to present 'The best of the West End' in a unique music event. Tony's song - 'Home from Home' was sung by Russel Watson and Freiderike Krum. A commemorative cd of this show which includes Tony's song is now available with all proceeds going towards the Chelsea Pensioners Scarlet Appeal.
